VW Scirocco R-Cup China will bring it’s season finale to the Zhuhai International Circuit…

This weekend (November 11th & 12th, 2011), the 2011 Scirocco R-Cup China will bring it’s season finale to the Zhuhai International Circuit. The weekend will feature qualifying on Friday and two rounds on Saturday. Driver David Cheng will suit up and race his No. 10 iSkin/Our World Live Scirocco R-Cup car. Go David!!

20 drivers will join the Scirocco grid this time. Eve Scheer, the female driver from Scirocco Cup Germany, who is a well known MC/actress/model in Germany, will compete in Scirocco R-Cup China for the first time (car No.30). Two other new faces are car No.20 Laurence Yip (USA) and car No.31 Filippo Cuneo (ITA). On the driver line-up, the series will feature 6 Chinese drivers (Yin Haitao, Bao Jinlong, Weng Shijing, Li Chao, Zhang Dasheng, Ren Wei and Bai Jin); 3 drivers from Hong Kong China (William Lok, Joeson Ko and William Cheung); 2 familiar faces from Italy (Andrea Reggiani and Stefano Montesi); 2 drivers from America (David Cheng and Sam Yau); 1 French Patrick Boulau, 1 British Noel Becker and 1 Japanese Ida Masahiko.

The 2011 Scirocco R-Cup China will have awarding ceremony right after the race, to celebrate another successful season!
